Thes range are part of one of the highest mountain ranges called The Himalaya...
The beautyful portion here in mcloed is the key factor of not only attracting the outsiders here but just the fasinating character to stay white all year long...
The locals name it Hanuman ji ka tiba because these ranges have alot of religious history with their hindusim religion and belief.
This peak seen from mcloed is around 5,639 m high..thats very high..this range emerges from ladkh to mandi, dharamsala, even to sikkin..to allmost all the northern plains of india,.i assume himachal got its name fromthe mountains too..
In mcloed we have a lot of trekking tours and expiditons which are really fun.alot of them have trek days durations like from few days to few weeks..they can be on really rocky moutain like in zanskar, ladkh trek or snow trek like in manali and here sometimes..
For the last few years we have been observing really strange things about this mountains..from a scietific views the basic answer or the main factor is global warming..its was from around 2005-8 to 2010 that there were very little or no snow at all..and the climate temperature reached up to 39-40 something..we have had late monsoon making the winter really short and summers extremly hot..
Fortunately through the following years the weathers have changed; even now with summer in it month of mid may we still see snow on the lovely mountains..Alot of rains storms helping in maintaining the moderate temperature...
Due to these mountain the people in mcloed are able to get fresh cold and clean water...we locals are very good with drinking natural waters from these holy mountains which once held the god of shiva!!
Its really a blessing
