Mhendi

Mhendi is a very old and tradtion thimg of india..commonly these days its known as temporary tatoo..
Its the females who use these mhendis in order to decorate their hands, feet during special ocassions..
Like in this pictures we see that the main kind of style of designing is the very old and tradtions designs..designs include simplest forms of flowers, leaves, checks., and lots of curly and winding lines..

The mhendi in western culture its called Henna i believe..also a name from sanskrit..this decorating the skin was brought up from the past they say..its has medical properties too..mhendi and tumeric added and mixednwell can help alot of the wounds curing says a local..practiced alot in the india and nepal..i believe it has religious resons too because a lot of arab use it so foes the hindus...
The decorating of the skin can extend from just the hands to the whole arms..and same with the feet..the mhendi is added egg yolk, lemon , and coffe(a lttle nit and heated)to intense the color of the mhendi..
The color is visible wen the paste mhendi is dried after few hours and it fall automatically by itself..in the first time the color will be light but on the followings days it darkens, the color changes from simple orange to dark maroon or say scarlet..these skin decorations last for more than a week..and its natural so no side effect.. one can get creative too..hahaha.
This mhendi is now used as an ayurvedic ingredient to ccolor people hair also..it seems like a messy job at first but its natural, cheap and gives good results!!!
